I have sensitive skin, is the Superfood range ok for me to use?
Yes, The superfood skincare range is for ‘all skin types’. The cleanser naturally foams to deeply cleanse.
The serum is a nourishing oil based serum so sensitive you can use it on your eye area, neck and face.
The moisturiser is packed with superfoods and antioxidants to protect your skin through out the day from toxins, a fantastic moisturiser if you work in the city or are exposed to harsh environmental conditions.
Are Agerasia skin care products natural?
Yes. Our extracts are pure, unadulterated and highly active. The extraction process does not compromise the bio-matrix integrity of the fruit or plant. So you receive whole heartedly, the purest ingredients in each product.
How is your moisturising sunscreen SPF 15 natural?
The moisturising sunscreen is naturally scented with lavender essential oil and pure vanilla bean oil. It contains Zinc Oxide which is a natural, physical sunscreening agent. It sits on your skin reflecting both UVA and UVB rays. It also contains Red Raspberry Seed Oil which protects against UVA and UVB rays. The SPF is 15
Are Agerasia skin care products tested on animals?
No. Agerasia absolutely loves animals and under no circumstances do we perform animal testing or even condone this practice. Our standards and beliefs are 100% animal cruelty free.
Are Agerasia skin care products and soy candles manufactured in Australia?
Yes we source manufacturers around Australia for both our skin care range and our soy candles. Some of our manufacturers are small businesses and we often try to support and encourage other small business owners. This means that some things are still hand made, a real person in our community is working extra hard to support their dream and family.
That is what Agerasia is all about and we will continue to do this.
Why aren’t all Agerasia’s natural ingredients organic?
We source only the finest cosmeceutical grade ingredients, organic where possible.
You can find the organic grade ingredients by looking through the ingredients list, they are marked with * after each one. Some ingredients include essential oils and wildcrafted ingredients that work in powerful synergies to formulate a better result for you. Not all organic ingredients will work efficiently to bring you a quality product with the result we are after and so we source higher quality over organic in these cases.
What is the shelf life of Agerasia products?
We recommend a shelf life unopened and stored correctly as notified individually on each label. If you are in a warmer climate where temperatures exceed 30 degrees then we recommend you store your products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Our Soy Candles are 100% natural, this means they can melt at a certain temperature and should also be kept inside away from direct sunlight.
Are Agerasia products suitable for vegans?
Yes. Agerasia currently has a range of products which are entirely free of animal products and are therefore suitable for vegans. We do not support the testing of animals at all.
Are Agerasia products suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
It is always advised you talk with your practitioner if you have any queries relating to use of any products.
Agerasia use only natural ingredients from fruit or plant extracts so although all should be fine there are some small details to be notified of. Lavender is used in Agerasia Moisturising Sunscreen SPF 15 and in our Superfood serum, it is advised not to use lavender during pregnancy as it is a powerful oil that has sedative properties which cause it to be a uterine stimulant, causing contractions. The lavender in our products is of small dose for the purpose of scent however, it is always advised to ask your Doctor first.
How long do Agerasia products last once opened?
We always advise that you use your Agerasia products once opened with in the period of 6 months.
This ensures you will be using them at their prime while they are still active and fresh.
We are 100% natural with absolutely zero chemical preservatives so like all natural produce the products will turn if left after 6 months.
Is Agerasia packaging recyclable?
Yes. Agerasia prides itself on thinking of all the small things that make a larger impact on our environment.
Our containers for skin care are recyclable, our packaging boxes you receive your product in are recyclable, our business cards and all physical materials are recyclable. Even down to the bubble wrap which is 100% eco friendly.
So please make sure once all our stock is on your end that you separate into your recycling bin.
Do you use palm oil?
There is a growing concern for Orangutan extinction with the use of palm oil and its derivatives. Unfortunately most consumers think the word palm oil must be written on the ingredient list, however this is not the case. Palm oil derivatives come under 200 different names making it very difficult. We are highly ethical and environmentally aware, therefore every ingredient we purchase must be sustainably sourced. The future of orangutans depends on businesses like ours making the conscious decision to avoid these unsustainable ingredients.
Do you allow wholesale accounts?
We will take enquiries for wholesale accounts, at this very moment we are a small business but will consider possibilities of working beside like minded ethical companies wanting to expand their range.
